Inadequate Insulation

Problem: Hard to insulate areas or lack of insulation.

Solution: Super Therm® a ceramic based, water-borne, insulating coating, designed to block heat load, moisture penetration, and air infiltration over a surface and reduce energy costs.  Super Therm® is a coating, that when applied at roughly the thickness of a business card, yields an R-19 insulation value.  Super Therm® works on the principle that it does not absorb heat, and therefore the heat does not transfer into or out of your home or building.

Example applications: Apply to the roof sheathing before applying the new roofing or under your new siding.  Apply to the exterior walls or roof.  Apply to the interior walls and ceiling.  Cathedral ceilings cannot be insulated properly because of the limited space, apply Super Therm® to the surface does not require any additional space consumption.

Building structures absorb heat all day long and retain that heat during the cool down time (evening/night), creating a longer time period for your building to cool (air conditioners running longer into the cool down time).

There are three ways to defend against the damage ice dams cause: attic insulation, attic ventilation system, and water-proofing shingle underlayment. All three work together.  Ask us how we can help.
